This service includes treatment for mice or rats. They not only feed on foods that we use for ourselves, but they carry diseases and disease-bearing organisms. The diseases associated with rodents range from mild to very severe in effect on humans. The “Black Plague” of many years ago was caused by Yersinia pestis, a bacterium hosted by fleas on rats. The recent Hantavirus scare in the American southwest is caused by the disturbance of mice-droppings, causing the virus to become airborne.

GRPC’s rodent service is performed by the careful placement of bait. This treatment is more discrete and less obtrusive than physical trap treatments. Please allow 4 weeks for full treatment to take effect. Service is guaranteed for 90 days. Note that single-family properties are priced differently than a double-family apartment. Duplexes are charged as 2 separate discounted properties.
Additional charges will be applied to your order if you would like a Stop Hole service. Our technicians will inspect the outside of the structure and plug any foundation holes that a mouse/rat will enter.

Highly recommend Grand Rapids Pest Control! I called them after seeing ~3 cockroaches between my kitchen and bathroom. Chris came out and asked great questions! After seeing a photo of the roach, he explained what type of roach it was and … More what he would recommend. He expressed that he was more than happy to go ahead and apply a treatment but also noted that it would be very reasonable to wait and see as well, given the type of roach it was and that wood roaches don't tend to pose much of a risk of infestation. I really appreciated Chris' honesty, thoughtfulness, and knowledge! I did not feel as though he was talking me into or out of anything. I truly felt he was teaming and collaborating with me to help me make a plan that was the best fit for my house and health. I chose to wait to have anything treated because I'm fairly health conscious and although I know the treatment is safe for humans, I would rather not introduce a new chemical into my home if I don't need to.
